I work on a research vessel, and I purchased several of the HexCycle bins in different colors to facilitate recycling onboard. Some of them live in the galley, but others live out on deck. I have had them for almost one year now, and despite being outside in the salt air, getting splashed with salt water, and being exposed to sun, rain, and other elements, they are holding up great! Our waste management crew at the 2009 Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C. used the BODS to supplement our public collection efforts in the finish line and runner hospitality areas. With 35,000 runners, we had a lot to take care of, and the BODS were a big help. The bins held up very well under the pressure of the day, even standing up to spilled drinks and winds that reached 20 mph during the day. The System is very easy to assemble, simple to service, and does an excellent job of making trash collection very presentable which runners, spectators, and sponsors appreciate. We will want to expand our collection coverage with the BODS in the upcoming 2010 Marine Corps Marathon.

My company has probably utilized RecyclingBin.com's Event Kiosk more than any other customer that I'm aware of, with use at more than 100 large special events over the past 3 years.

This bin has been great, I was happy to find a bin at a reasonable price that was sturdy enough for outdoor use. I have had about 5 of them placed and all are still in great condition.
